WOD PROGRAM

Our WOD program or “Workout Of The Day” is our daily program. This program is designed for anyone and everyone! The program is built to challenge the elite and it’s infinitely scaled down for the general population and those wanting to get fit for the very first time.

You may wonder how this is possible. We are able to achieve this in a class setting because everything is based off of movement. Our first goal is to get you to move and move well. Then we move with intensity and/or load. The Strongside WOD program alternates through phases of training while avoiding any chance of plateau and maximizing progression. You will be guided through the class by a coach and given what feels like 1:1 attention in an intimate class setting. Our mission is to put you in a position to succeed and the WOD program will help you reach your health/fitness goals!

OLYMPIC WEIGHTLIFTING PROGRAM

The sport of Olympic Weightlifting consists of two movements, the Snatch and Clean & Jerk. These movements are likely foreign to most people, however, they have massive value.

These movements are highly functional and doing one Olympic lift gets you the benefit of doing dozens of other segmented lifts. Our Olympic lifting program alternates through phases just like the WOD program for maximum progression. It does not matter if you’ve never done or seen these movements before. Our coaches will work with you, instruct you, and teach you everything you need to know! You will do Olympic lifts in the WOD program, however this program gives more time and attention to detail in the Snatch and Clean & Jerk.

CONDITIONING PROGRAM

The Strongside Conditioning Program is cardio + core! This program is a great way to improve your performance in the WOD Program. The WOD program is the ultimate driver for your fitness, however, the Conditioning Program is an outstanding program to get even more fit!

In this program you will tackle essential conditioning workouts to build a “motor” (endurance), burn a lot of fat, and increase your energy in workouts/life! At the end of these sessions, you’ll also focus on core strengthening exercises to build your midline (hips & spine). It’s a jam packed jam session for all ability levels!

STRONG TOTS – KIDS CLASS

Strong Tots (ages 4-11) is an exciting and fun way for kids to exercise and learn healthy lifestyle habits. Our Coaches are Kids Trainers who provide a safe and fun environment that guarantees success for all ability and experience levels! This is NOT just weightlifting for kids. We focus on good movement, having fun, teamwork, and confidence building. The program is based primarily on speed, agility, cognitive skill, running, drills, games, bodyweight exercises, tumbling, etc. We focus on getting kids to understand their body and how to use it.

Each workout, your kids will learn and practice functional movements that are fundamental to all things kids need to do when they play. They will participate in fun and engaging workouts that deliver measurable results and prepare them to be well-rounded athletes. They pull, push, run, throw, climb, lift, and jump. There are drills designed to help develop critical thinking and reasoning skills, instill confidence, and learn the value of leadership and teamwork. Your kids will learn healthy lifestyle practices that last a lifetime.

Our Strong Tots classes provide an environment that celebrates the abilities and successes of every child, at every ability level, and of every body type. We combat the notion that there are ideal body types, shapes, and sizes. We teach kids to understand that every body is capable of amazing things. We want to build the confidence in every kid we meet to be comfortable in his/her own skin.
