Training Notes

1.) This is going to be a great week! This week is a little bit longer than some of your other weeks. We are taking a lot of the skill you’ve learned and holding it for a longer period of time. For example, you’re doing “NATE” on Monday which only has 2 MU per round, but it’s 20min long. The TEAM WOD on Tuesday has very long sets of barbell work, etc. It’s going to be a really good week, you’re just going to be practicing a lot of what you’ve learned. 

2.) We will also be spending a lot of time each day breaking down movements. We will spend a good bit of time learning progression, adapting to new skills, etc. We want your movements t one very efficient and learning that is a working in its-self. There is a lot more involved than what is written on the website below. 

3.) Wednesday is new thing we are trying and I’m really looking forward to it! It’s called “GOAL DAY” where we will be spending the day looking at your goals, trying to cross them off the goal wall and spending the entire class on learning skill and tackling your goals! It really will be fun and we will talk about it more in class and in the members group on facebook. 

4.) Overall the progression is awesome! We have 1 more week after this before the cycle ends. We will have a short break for Christmas and then resume training with a little bit of testing. We will not have a full out testing cycle (just a few things) as we have to switch focus on capacity for The Open in Feb! It’s fitness time, baby!
