Week 10 in Meso Cycle 1 of 2017
Week 2 of 4 in Micro Cycle 2
1.) Our main goal is to build and maintain capacity. Our goal is to maintain strength while increasing skill and overall work capacity until our testing in 3 weeks. The next 2 weeks of this training cycle will be very heavy focused on % work to make sure we are on track to PR. However, you’re already really good at pull-ups, thrusters, etc. The goal now is to make you fit enough to hold that work effort for an extended period of time. We need to make you comfortable when you’re uncomfortable and learn to negotiate it.
2.) As we have discussed in the past few weeks, only focus on the given task. When you’re squatting, only worry about the squat – don’t try to “save it” for the WOD. Look at each activity and get as good as you can at etch activity. Basically, expression is key. You goal is to express your fitness as hard as you can for the next 3 weeks to get ready for testing.
